No, you’re just looking at planes. While you might think they are or want them to be hovering, they’re not. There’s an occasional helicopter too. Possibly even a tiny recreational drone from one of your silly neighbors having fun if you’re really lucky.
Nah I know what a plane moving in the sky looks like and I think most other people do too. The government has also essentially admitted they’re drones but said they’re not nefarious so it’s a pretty dumb assertion to say people are just noticing planes in the sky now.
Yeah the Pentagon has a lot of trouble discerning between drones and helicopters. Honestly I was actually surprised when they didn't just give your hollow explanation.
That’s actually not what the govt admitted. They admitted there are many reports of drone sightings. At no point have they confirmed there are actually drones. They stated every incident they investigated has either turned up no evidence or resulted in a manned aircraft (plane or helicopter). This is all hysteria and people convincing themselves.

Well that’s simply not true. Where does that say they haven’t confirmed there’s any drones? You can’t just make something up because it sounds good in the flow of your argument.
Because all of those are under 400’ hobbyist sized drones. There is a massive difference between that and a “car sized drone” that everyone looking up at airplanes is seeing. Seeing one of those is like seeing a mosquito with lights. They have a high pitch buzz and sound like toys. The phenomenon of people looking up at and/or for those little drones are suddenly seeing planes like it’s the first time in their life and thinking every blinking light is a drone. They’re not. The biggest problem the govt has right now isn’t drones, it’s that they’re so fucking untrustworthy that if they tell people they’re not seeing drones it’s going to cause hysteria. It’s going to take the common sense of individuals to realize they’re wrong, and as I said earlier I admittedly am one who thought for sure I had drones flying around my house. They were all planes. Not one clear picture. Silly hypothesis of nuclear searches that can for some reason only happen at night, but they use their nav lights to be courteous….. riiight. Our military could literally fly a car size drone right above you without being seen at all and drop a bomb down your chimney if they wanted to. They turn their lights off when approached……. Instant invisibility…. Seriously come on. Our military can see a pimple on your ass through a wall.

I've read so many theories, I think my favorite (ok not favorite but most outlandish) was that they were all the Thing, and due to the nature of its existence, they learned not to trust their own kind, so at one point the show is just aliens versus aliens. Copper was the last one to go.
…though I have no proof, I firmly believe that the drones are really Santa’s Elves checking on who’s Naughty or Nice. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
