Eh they played a pretty good game. The Chiefs barely beat the Panthers 30-27 earlier in the year. The Commanders beat the Saints with their second and third string quarterbacks splitting the game 20-19 today.

Not every game good or bad teams win/lose are huge blowouts. This game is utterly useless to us though and that sucks.

That's the New York Jets Way. Playing useless football games since 2011.

I watched the last 4 min of the game. The 2024 jets are dead to me.

That being said, always happy to see them have more points than the opponent

Aaron Rodgers had a good game and he was having fun out there. It was good to see that. He looks healed from his early season injuries. He was running all over the place today.

As a Jets fan it was a great game to see in person.
Since I spent a decent amount of coin on tickets and travel definitely enjoyed the win.
When Jax tied it in the fourth, I told my son even if they lost at that point, I would be okay with it because we saw a decent game, last year we went to the zeroTD abomination in Vegas.

I wish we had lost. It was the most important game to lose because we're directly competing with the Jaguars for draft position and we probably lose to every remaining team we face.

Having said that, I'm pretty apathetic to the Jets right now so it's not irking me as much as it usually would.

That day isn’t today. We needed that loss and of course they had to fuck everything up yet again.

That was certainly not on Rodgers. Brain dead coaching for years.

With VERY rare exceptions (Peyton, Elway etc.) I can’t stand the tanking mentality. The whole thing seems stupid to me. “We won a game. OH NO! Now we can’t draft some kid who never played a snap in the league, a few spots ahead of another kid who never played a snap in the league!”

Just draft good football players every round and make good personnel decisions. That’s how successful organizations are run. If you’re that desperate to draft a few spots higher, you have some SERIOUS problems as an organization.

Rodgers played well overall, but he has to take some of the blame for the last TD. How does he not tell the guys not to score there?

I never understood the kissing the canvas thing. Play for pride if you can. It's not like the Jets are going to ace the draft, anyway.

Tanking is an absolute BS concept and no profesional worth two shits would ever go for it. Total rubbish idea.

I’m not going to kill them for that one. The kicker is shit. They have lost multiple games relying on the kicker to make a kick at the end.

They had a chance to avoid that and they took it

Neither happy nor unhappy. Totally numb. It means nothing. I'm not into chasing the top draft pick and there will be great players available wherever we pick. If we get a decent GM we will have a chance of landing one.

The only concern is that some people think this shows how close we are... I want Rodgers gone next year.

    I agree 1,000 percent.
There are time to go down and not score.
That was not one of them.

Fun game, and Rodgers is finally looking healthy again albeit too little too late..... The last time we were rooting for the JETS to lose they ended up drafting Zach Wilson....

Unhappy camper here. Yes we draft poorly and Jets will Jets but I wanted new GM and Head Coach to have a high draft pick to be honest. With us being in cap hell they could use a high draft pick.

Well, we had the chants of, "Reggie! Reggie! Reggie!" in The Old Dump for Reggie Bush
    Suck for Luck
    Tank for Trevor

What's next? My limited understanding is that the upcoming draft is nothing to write home about, but what do I know?
