I was texting my Fin fan sister at the end of the game. She was fretting the miami would lose and i told her it was doubtful. I told either rodgers would choke or the jets D would fold. She now thinks I'm psychic.
I mentioned this before, but, the place I go to watch the Jets games here in southern Delaware gives away a jersey every Sunday. They hand out free raffle tickets to everyone around the bar and during around the 3rd qtr they draw a number and I won. So, I ordered a green #5 Wilson jersey. So, today wasn't a total loss. Last year, my wife won and got a black #95 Williams one.
Every year, “next year” is always “the better year to have no 1 pick” I don’t subscribe to that line of thinking. There are good players in this draft, and it would be nice to have our pick of the litter
It would be nice to actually win.... and have management that doesn't need the #1 pick to draft good players..
I have to say, this is the first week in at least 15 years that I have not even watched 1 minute of football. I just had no desire at all to even look at the scores yesterday. After seeing the result, I made the right decision because once again the Jets defense choked away the game in the clutch and completely collapsed. This actually feels good not watching the Jets. I think I'm going to do this from now on.
