Too much negativity going on. Woody is a fuckface, we have not seen much success last 13 years but who cares.

Jets are my team. I love Green and White. Who is with me for a Jets chant?

I’m just not sure what sense it is for every post about actual football players or the future of the team needs to be railroaded by “we shouldn’t do that because Woody fucking sucks!!!”

We still have a good young core even though some of those players have been frustrating this year and we have a fresh slate to hire a new GM and coach. The Jets can do a lot to fix the organization if they hire right regardless of Woody’s douchebaggery.

Therein lies the problem. I have absolutely zero confidence that they will make the right hire. It would have to be an absolute lightning strike stroke of luck. I suppose there's always that chance, but I have reached a point where I expect absolutely nothing but the worst at all times.

I once more have at least a little hope... because we will have a new coach and a new GM for next season. I knew a while ago that we would go nowhere with Saleh at the helm. Woody remains a problem, of course, but I do not believe he has INTENTIONALLY made bad choices for coach and GM, he has just been clueless and unlucky. There is, therefore, a chance that he might be lucky his time and get a good coach. A good coach, who would put together a solid staff, would turn things around very quickly.

So I'll give you a J... E... T... S... Jets, Jets, Jets. But no exclamation marks.

We've had a good young core since Mangini. I remember Tannenbaum comparing our squad to the superbowl giants.

It's been too long. The Adam Gase hire fried my brain, this year Woody and AAron broke it.

My last hope was that Woody would be appointed ambassador to Timbuktu, then convert to Islam, then clone Abdul Salam, Muhammad Wilkerson, and Muhammed Ali, and have them play for the Jets.
    That hope is dashed.

    I am now a darksider.

Not really. We routinely fielded bottom of the barrel rosters from 2012-2021. The talent pool has been absolutely dreadful.

Funny enough, the defense wasn’t half bad but we were looking at Bless Austin and Neville Hewitt as possible defensive solutions in 2019. I’d bet a lot of people can’t even say what positions they played at this point.

Our leading receiver in 2013 was Jeremy Kerley and there was a lot of quarterback metric comparisons of how Geno played with/without him on the field since he got banged up in the middle of the year. That same year we thought David Nelson was a great pickup for the offense.

In 2016, we were excited to see Bryce Petty at the end of the year to see if we potentially had something and were wondering if Bilal Powell could be our feature back in 2017. Would Lorenzo Mauldin emerge as the speed rushing edge we were looking for since John Abraham?

I mean we all have fond memories of a lot of these guys but the rosters have been brutal. We have some players on this roster that I think a couple good off-season additions and hires can turn into a solid fighting roster for 2025.

Man…when you lay it all out like that it’s fucking brutal

These are the rosters that guys like Idzik and Mac gave us.

    Disgusting
