Now that we are in Tankhaton mode, I doubt anyone cares but Geno Smith is coming to Metlife with Seahawks. Now that Jets are out of it, expect them to win a few meaningless games. This might be one of them.
I vote Jets to win. I will not attend the game. Having trouble selling them at even at 1/2 face value. At least I will be on the beach, umbrella drink in my hand, searching for the mythic green flash in Grand Cayman.
I'm okay with that. There are only two QBs I can think of that I definitely don't want to see here next year.
I can’t remember a game thread with this few posts this deep into the week in a long time. That includes seasons where we were rocking Josh McCown as our starting QB. Sorry ass franchise, man.
Plus we are coming off our bye week. I can understand the low interest though. Our team is not that fun to root for ATM (or even fun to discuss anymore). I mean we got frickin Aaron Rodgers and Devante Adams, and were still a snooze fest of mediocrity.
Looking forward to getting blown out off a bye. I expect little things like lots of early three and outs, no energy and seeming to forget we had a game Sunday. You know, the usual Jets stuff.
Seahawks because the Jets suck. That said I don't think the Jets are going to lose out and could be the classic spoiler type team down the stretch because of Rodgers and their talent level. They'll help decide something(s) the NFC West(?), costing Buffalo a #1 seed or Miami a playoff spot. One or more of these teams will catch the Jets on a day Rodgers is feeling it and the Jets remember how to play defense and they'll fall into the trap.
Nah, it is time for the annual get as high as possible draft pick, not cheer on pointless wins, we are 6th but a win or two could take us out of the top 10-15 and that would make the season even more shit
