Good luck, @Brook! . How strange to be living somewhere not near I-95!

How does the family feel about it?

Thanks jeff. Please post to the Jets forum more. I know there isn't much appetite left in us to care about the Jets but seeing your posts will at least bring some smile to our faces.

Kids are in college and they are happy for me. It will be wife and I making the move. Wife is a little sad but she is supportive. I knew this day was going to come. I held off my career to be able to give my kids something I never had which was the definition of home town. For them it is Madisonn NJ. For me, it is nothing as I moved from place to place. Now that kids are in college I can move freely.

Yeah, I find talking about the Jets way too stressful. At least I enjoyed posting about the Mets for a few weeks.

Good luck to you and your wife. The only problem for your college-age kids is where they go during breaks - if it's to be with you in Indy, they don't see their old high school friends, and if it's to Madison, they don't see you, and where do they stay? My parents moved from my area of Queens a couple of years after I graduated from high school, but only across the border into Nassau, so there was no issue for me to stay in touch with high school friends (and I'm still in touch with four of them, 52 years later).

Brook - Best of luck with the job and relocating as I wish you and your wife and your boys nothing but success, health, happiness and IMO change can often be a very good thing and in your case I hope that this change of location and scenery for all of you is a GREAT thing ! Now keep an open mind as you read on ,,,,,,,,,,,,, If not for the Colts your Jets NEVER / Ever get one single Super Bowl victory,,,,,,,,,,, also ,,,,,,,,,,,the average snowfall in Indy is around 25 inches per year and this year I hope it exceeds / shatters that ceiling for you :D I do not know how many McDonald's there are located in the downtown Indy area but please do NOT harass ( BTW according to google ----> ha·rass hə-ˈras, ˈhar-əs. : to subject persistently and wrongfully to annoying, offensive, or troubling behavior ) those cute young Hoosier women working as fast food employees :)
Lastly Happy Thanksgiving and check your PM's / be well Brookster

Thank you very much brother. Appreciate your well wishes. Now, there are plenty of Micky D's in Indy but I lost plenty of weight since my last encounter at Florham Park Mc Donalds :)

I hate snow and God knows it. Hopefully Indy will be spared from snow next 2 years at least. But I am going to be staying in an apartment so even if it snows, I won't be shoveling the snow anyway.

Welcome back and please post more my friend. :)
