I don't know what to say anymore... (while I just watched a game break and Bo Nix tossing his 3rd TD for the damn Broncos...helloooo...Wood-RUFF you old nasty fucker...COACHING MATTERS!)

We've all talked until we are blue in the face. GM's, Head Coaches, position coaches, team philosophies, different training regimes, light training camps, hard training camps. You name it, it's been discussed over and over and over and over... Some of us have even tried shaming fellow fans who waste their money on this shit stain of a team, that changes nothing. People go to the game with bags on their head and chant "sell the team" among other things and that does nothing.

We talk about Rodgers retiring but, really, what good would that do? If he stayed, what good would that do? We have 3 or 4 really good young guys, Sauce included, but what good does that do? This organization has proven, time and time again, that they are incapable of putting together a winning formula. If I'm these young kids I'm NOT putting my playing life in jeopardy for an organization that is CLEARLY not as committed to winning as they are. But what good does it do? Not a scrap of good. Not one bit.

I know it didn't need it's own thread but I made it anyway.

I just don't know what to say anymore. Is there anything TO say anymore?

It’s amazing how the jets thought they were a Super Bowl contender this year and may finish with the worst record in the nfl, but hey it’s the woody and the jets clown show so what do you expect?

I see it with Breece in particular. He runs to save himself for his next contract. Can’t blame him.

Sadly, this was something that could be seen coming from a mile away. Incompetent coaching, an abysmal GM, a clueless owner, and an old and injured QB combined to make something that could be presented in a way that could convince some people that they were good on paper, but this was always a team that was going to fall flat on its face.

The only thing that is an absolute certainty in the NFL on a year to year basis: the Jets are going to Jet.

Jets are favored by 4.5 points vs seahawks , to cope with your misery just keep betting against them and getting free money to subside all the money you spent on this joke of a team, only bright side we have now is we have 14 days to mentally recoup from watching this shit show

    I get you 100%

So many things can disappoint in Life : Job Family Relationships Elections etc …Sports is supposed to give us something to cheer about ? And sometimes it does. But this old team I ve stuck with and now I will only watch bits and pieces on Red Zone …I see other good teams not one big loser week after week

So now fir me it’s Let Go and Let God

    Find some Peace man

    Pretty bleak future.

I’ve been playing golf the last several Sundays. No idea what I’m going to do when the weather won’t allow it. I can’t stand the NFL any more.

I got nuthin as the saying goes. After decades of this shit, I'm both numb and apathetic. Rogers stays? fck it. Rogers goes? fck it. The result will be the same no matter the outcome. I've said time and again the next season will be my last as a participating Jet fan but honestly, I stayed around hoping for a miracle. No miracles on the horizon and that light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming express train. In other words, I'm done until this team either changes ownership, or a complete turnover from the FO on down to the sidelines. If Woody decides to run it back OR hand over the day to day to his imbecilic little brother Christoper, I will have no reason to follow the Jets in '25.

This time, I'm done. Got suckered in for this year thinking a healthy Rodgers would matter. It didn't. The same inept group of Coaches produced the same results. Nobody will take this job if Rodgers is still in the building because he'll be the defacto HC/OC/GM. Rodgers has to go once the season is over. No two ways about it. IF Rodgers stays, then it will be business as usual in Florham Pk. I'm not gonna participate in that venture anymore. #Done

I've been saying since this summer that this whole thing was a fraud.

As long as you keep hiring incompetent GMs and coaches this merry go round of shit will continue. I never thought this season was going to be that good. Major holes, bad drafting and questionable personnel moves all over the place. Add to that, not one real NFL offensive coach in the building, not one. That is grand recipe for disaster.

This is squarely on Woody Johnson more than anyone else as he has the ultimate say and wallet to back it up.

Unless he opens the wallet and spends BIG and gets the right guys to lead this franchise, it will continue to be a shitshow forever.

It can be done but with Woody in charge it is highly unlikely. They need to shut it down for this season ASAP, try to get a jump on the league for once and start devising a plan and list of candidates TODAY and make the hire right after Week 18.

It is their only chance at salvaging this garbage dump.

With Woody, I don’t know…I don’t think it’s the money really…I think it’s his fucking incompetence and total inability to identify the right people, be it GM or HC candidates. I think he’d pay out the money for the right guy, but I just don’t think he has a clue as to who that right guy would be.

Could be wrong on the money thing, but I can’t recall losing a GM or HC for money reasons. JD held out for a 6 year deal and he got it. On the coaching side, we’ve kept going after rookies looking for their first gig so money hasn’t really been an issue, but I think Woody’s problem is more on the intelligence side than the cheapskate side.

Unfortunately, I'm right there with you. As it looks now, from an active fan standpoint, I think 2024 has become my breaking point. I simply can't muster the energy. I had different reasons than most for picking this team to have 6 wins or less this year despite all the "bull." Some were pointing at Douglas' draft record, the age of the vets being brought in, letting others walk, others at the coaching. I knew, at 40, the moment Rodgers got "punched in the mouth" it was all over. In this particular case, I'm sad to say I was right and totally wish I was wrong. Every single game I've watched, there are snips panning to Rodgers and you can SEE it in his face. You see the age, the resignation. His Ego is the size of Manhattan and he can talk all he wants but his eyes and body language do not lie. That guy is PAST done. He knows it, everyone can see it but his EGO simply won't let him hand the ball to Taylor and call it a career. He can ride the pine as a backup for the remainder of the season but he won't. Johnson has enabled the EGO and it's on "full steam ahead."

Regardless of what we fans think or say, Saleh was INCREDIBLY POPULAR in the locker room. A competent owner would know this. The minute Saleh was fired, I (and most on TGG) knew the season was over. You could literally SEE the "sails deflate" in the defense. They have been a shell since. The younger players like Sauce & Hall have mailed it in. That is clear. Wilson is still fighting but I don't give that much longer. No team in the league is going to hold it against them, half-assing the rest of the season, knowing full well what they are going through with this slime-stain of an ownership running the show. The whole modus operandi blows monkey butt and EVERYONE league wide knows it. It's true, Saleh deserved to be fired...before the season began or at the end. In the middle was simply poor management. Now with Douglas on the way out, it just personifies how poorly Johnson run his team and how completely out of touch he is with the whole show top to bottom.

I simply have run out of words to explain what is needed to fix it.

Being a Jets fan has become minimal in my life. They've been non competitive for 14 out of the last 15 years. If they were competitive it would at least be interesting.

They have no idea how to win a football game. Why would anyone want to root or watch that? Unfortunately for me they are my football team and I can't switch teams, it's not in my blood. So I phased out.
