Bart Scott just did a rather comprehensive explanation of how badly Sauce sucked and how he gave up that long play on the last Colts' drive.
You know, I don't know that Sauce sucks. You don't play two years nearly lights out and then, "all of a sudden," forget to play football. No, this kid has packed it in, just like the rest of the team has. They know massive change is coming to this team in 2025 or, worse yet, no change at all.
I don't think cutting him would make sense but there's no way he's done enough to deserve a long $$$ extension that I am sure he thinks he's gonna get soon.
We definitely wouldn't cut him, especially with how the rookie contracts are structured. But it'd be interesting to see how he'd react after witnessing something like that. He was already clapping back at people on social media after his tackling "skills" were called out. Maybe it'd light a fire under him to turn this atrocious decline around.
