Wow im starting to hate this guy for real, rich Cimini tweeted that sauce missed tackle for 17 extra yards may have cost the Jets the game, Sauce tweeted back saying "yeah I am sure me missing that tackle is what really cost us the game". Than the idiot deletes the tweet, just show we got alot of dumb immature players on this team that don't give a shit.
The guy's name is Ahmad. "Sauce" is a promotional device which may or may not actually be based on a childhood family name. In professional sports nicknames are earned, not self-endowed. All the diamonds in the world don't change that - his play does. What he needs to do is earn a nickname for himself by playing at the elite level - that includes being able and willing to tackle guys bigger than himself. Why honor the guy by using such a fake name? Call him Ahmad - that's who he is.

I said it in another thread, but I feel even more certain about it after reading about this. They need to bench Gardner. If we're supposed to be preaching accountability (I laughed out loud typing that), then his play has put him in line for a demotion. He's currently the 4th best corner on his own team. Reed, Carter II, and Echols have all played better this season. They should be the ones out there.

I mean, when you lose the game 31-6, you can't say a single missed tackle cost them the game. Sauce does kind of wear his emotions on his sleeve though. I was originally advocating the Jets give Sauce an extension after this season to save money in the long run, but I'm starting to rethink that considering how bad the tackling has been. Maybe best to wait and see if he can bulk up a bit and improve that aspect of his game.
I know I can't cover as well as he can (who am I kidding, I wouldn't be able to cover anybody), but I feel reasonably confident I could tackle better. I mean, even if you can't bring the guy down, at least slow him down and hold him up long enough for your teammates to get there and help.
he is like the rest of the team all hype no results and bad play. Davente talked the talk, walked the walk and dropped a easy touchdown in the endzone last game, this team is full of overrated losers who all they do is talk and get no results. It helps Woody sell tickets though, thats why he probally gets these certain type of players.
I don’t understand if he is so good why isn’t he in press man coverage. Week after week he’s pointing to the safety as he releases the receiver. Week after week the ball is thrown to that same receiver and week after week we lose.
