Ulbrich is a fraud, the team is full of soft ass pussies that can't tackle led by the most overrated player on this team name Sauce can't tackle Garner. Next year they need to get a tackling coach or something because its been a ongoing problem.

I don’t think Ulbrich is a fraud, I think him becoming a head coach has been a detriment to the defense though. He’s probably only really equipped to be a DC.

The effort yesterday was thoroughly disgusting though.

It was bad but a lot of it was the 4th quarter when there was a lack of effort going around.

Can anyone tell me why, not just this season but every year, when we have 10 days to prepare we look the worse than ever? Its like having extra time to prepare for a team is bad for us. Something about this goes back to our overall culture.

Well partially its incorrect to say they had 10 days to prepare. They get the weekend off football.

They get the extra days to rest up but they aren't working. So they come in off the mini-vacation, I imagine its like any job, first day back after a long weekend you are kinda flat at work.

Ya any other job you get fired immediately for having that long to prepare and not even showing up for work, and these guys make more in 1 game than 99% of the population makes in a year.

IMHO, I do not see any player leaders, someone who will get in the face of another player who missed an assignment or is dogging it. Coaches make a difference for sure but winning teams have player leaders and frankly, at least for me, I see NO ONE in the role. The HC today said there is accountability behind closed doors... well if there is, its not manefesting on the field. How can there be accountability when the same effin players are marched out game after game and playe exacly the same poor brand of FB.

I'm beginning to think Ulbrich has been the problem this whole time. Tackling has gotten worse, but the penalties on defense are just inexcusable.

The number of missed tackles was a farce, Gardner trying to bring down McBride (I think?) and being shrugged off so he could get to the 1st down marker and more was pathetic. Like boys vs men.

I am usually in the camp of getting the GM first so he can pick his own guys but I think we should be auditioning new strength and conditioning coaches ASAP.

I'm not sure where the stats come from but it sure looked like it during the game... a lot of half-assed effort and poor technique all across the Jets D.

Good coaching fixes this and other problems. The Jets don't have good coaching.

This is just another symptom of the overall toxic culture, lack of discipline and coaching here.

This could all be fixed quickly with a new, proven regime.

I feel the same…good coaching takes this exact team and wins games. I fully believe that

Yup. This team makes many mental mistakes EVERY GAME. That's on the coaching staff.

You can’t make this shit up only took to week 11

Jeff Ulbrich says the Jets will return to fundamentals of tackling this week and be in pads. He also did a tackling presentation for the entire team this morning.

Yeah you see this shit like this and than you understand how this team is 3-7, they have a absolute joke for a coaching staff.

Man. They could’ve paid me to do the tackling presentation and the results would probably be the same.

Any day now, I'm expecting Woody to tell us that tackling is overrated, just like thinking.
