While obviously not a f an of keeping and paying a CB. I just keep thinking what it would look like if we generated more pressure via blitzing and free runners. I just hate the zone concept. I see we are blitzing more but still feel we are just so passive with the amount of injuries we have. Scheme change might be what he needs. The defense is boring to play in..no excitement generated for us or the players.

I know Brian Flores has his flaws but that defense is so fun to watch. Him or Ben Johnson are the next coaches i want to destroy and run out of town in 3-5 years

I can't believe I saw Soft get a piggyback ride, then thrown off like a 5 year old.

Unfortunately that was the turning point of the game that really cost the Jets. Not saying the game ends any differently but get that stop and we’re really in the game.

Not pumping him up at all but he did have a decent coverage day..

The Jets would be asinine to give him a big contract.

They should have traded him last weekend. His play has dropped off so much I'm not sure they can bring him back. He's not even one of the top 2 corners on his own team. Reed, Carter II, and Echols have all performed better this season.

Big decisions on hold until we see how Sauce and other guys look under a new regime.

Guy can’t tackle to save his life, the new gm needs to find a team to fleece like we did with Adams because the guy has so much hype and is flashy and needs to be traded before beijg exposed.

It's too late for that. We're only going to get cents on the dollar at this point.

Agreed. And he’s a good player but our roster is so far away from being good you have to flip him for a haul and try again.

He's not the type of guy I like on my teams. Nothing to do with his personality. He is the type of player who is amazing at some aspects he does, but so bad at one of two particular things that it will always rear it's ugly head at the wrong time.

Imo, he looks like shit because the jets look like shit. Morale is in the dumpster. Coach fired week 5. Arod and all his gabage. Woody. The disaster that is a GM, it goes on and on. Sauce is, and always has been, a great player. I hope the jets don’t re-sign him so he goes somewhere else and out of this division.

It must be so morale draining to cash those multi-million dollar checks each week.

I'm so glad I don't work in such a soul destroying environment.

nah trading him at this deadline would’ve been stupid. he’s having a terrible year his value is as low as ever.

It's not ever going to be higher.

At the very least, he should be on the bench. Reed, Echols, and Carter II have all outplayed him.

benching him for a game isn’t a bad idea, that’s one I could agree with

His trade value can increase over time

He’s Ahmad Gardner from here on out. Cool nicknames that overtake your first name are only for elite players.

Hat tip to @abyzmul for pointing this out when we drafted him. Great in coverage but just not physical.
