Which is why he should be fired immediately upon the team's return to New Jersey.

Then again, of course, he should have been fired in January.

Can we offload a vet for Michael Penix in Atlanta?

Can we trade the entire team for Jayden Daniels or CJ Stroud? I'd rather have one of them and a load of practice squad fodder at this point.

Precisely…which is why the Jets will continue to be the Jets for the foreseeable future. They’re always half in/half out which never ends well.

Not a trade but the Browns are releasing Quinton Jefferson. We should bring him back.

Panthers finally make a good deal and get a 4th for failed draft pick Jonathan Mingo when Mike Williams, Hopkins and Diontae Johnson went for less.

Another day where the Jets prove they are not a serious franchise. We're staring down a full on, tear-it-completely-down rebuild starting in January and did we do anything to help the cause? Of course not. Instead, we're going to chase a near statistical impossibility and try to make the playoffs in yet another year where it is not going to happen. And after we lose on Sunday and are just about officially eliminated, we'll have missed the chance to stock the war chest with draft picks to accelerate the rebuild.

The playoff drought is going to reach 20 seasons, I have no doubt about it at this point.

JD knows he's on the way out so, he's not putting a lot of effort into this job anymore. Woody should have told him to make whatever deals he could to replenish the picks he so foolishly traded away but nooooo. Trying to keep the myth of a playoff run alive to keep the suckers coming thru the gates at MetLife. Woody will never change. Always about the bottom line, never takes the long view. This is why this team will never amount to anything unless Woody does a James Dolan and takes a completely hands off approach to this franchise.

One could easily make the argument he never put any effort into the job. An absolutely terrible GM he has been.

As for Woody, he might as well just go the Jerry Jones route and just run the team as the actual GM. This franchise is such a disaster and, quite frankly, this team is never going to accomplish anything. I hope they get blown out each game the rest of the way by 4+ touchdowns and have the fans booing and chanting "sell the team" so loud that they drown out the announcers on TV.
