The friggin Pats get every break possible.....fumbles, bounces of the ball, penalties, do they ever get called for PENALTY???? They tackle a QB with their helmet to helmet nothing, they grab receivers..nothing....is the fix in??????????????????????????????????????????????????

PS: Belichick can rot in hell before I will ever root for him, the back-stabber!!!!

That fumble TD they had was classic New England playoff luck...

Having said that...they have outplayed the Colts and deserve to be ahead at half.

  3. This has been the case for the past 5 years.

In the past season or so, it has cpme more to the surface.

There is no explanation as to why they seem to get every bounce and alot of calls in their favor. But all the jets and every otherteam can do is just gameplan as best they can, minimize mistakes and force the patriots to make mistakes. If a team does that all the bounces and calls in the world mean nothing.

It's not just calls. Saying it's just luck and calls is being unfair. You don't win three Super Bowls by being lucky. It's done with execution. Capitalizing on mistakes and minimizing your own mistakes. Smart football.

God felt sorry for Boston after the curse of the Bambino. So, he moved the curse to the Celtics.

Every team needs a little luck to win a championship thats just the way it is and thats taking nothing away from the Pats because they are a great team. Kind of reminds me of the Yankees when they won their 4 championships. They had that meyer kid, pats had the tuck rule. Evey time the other team makes a mistake or the refs give them a call they pounce on it. It's just the sign of a good team.

I predict Colts are in position to tie the game with a field goal late and Vinateri shanks it.

I do not know if this has been posted yet but I have a question about the Pats first touchdown with the fumble. If my memory serves me right there is a rule in the NFL the a touchdown cannot be scored on a fumble that advances the ball. In the case that the ball is recovered in the endzone then the ball is placed on the 1 yard line which would have made it 4th and goal on the 1. This same rule was used against the Jets a couple years when Curtis fumbled and the Jets recovered it in the endzone. Is there anyone who can explain why this situation is any different to me or if there was a rule change?

Thats rule number 56736E. It reads as follows. If an offensive player fumbles and that fumble is recovered in the opponents end zone then the ball shall be placed at the one yard line UNLESS you are the New England Patiots in which case it is a touchdown.

Only in the last two minutes, I believe.

This entire thread became ridiculous, of course. The Colts scored on the exact same play, got a ridiculous penalty in their favor (roughing the passer on the last drive), and didn't get an obvious PI in the end zone called against them. I really hope that we are FINALLY done hearing about how the league favors the Pats, and that they always get lucky.
