Rodgers went into the darkness retreat. What he hasn’t realized is the jets are the darkness retreat and he never came out.

It appears Conk fell on that play. 3TDs and 2 easy FG ops is a good day for the offense. Defense and STs were actually bigger problems yesterday. Everyone keeps taking turns to fuck us. Except Greg. He's been consistent shit.

Okay and? Carr still sucks. Not sure what you’re even trying to get at. Both thing can be true.

Playing with a bad Hammy and knee... how many QB have we had that were on that pace?

Simply that Rodgers has had the opportunity to prove he was not the answer, at great cost. Carr has had no such opportunity and would have been so much less expensive in measurable and immeasurable ways.

So, rather than complaining about the guy who's not here, why not comment on the guy who is? That's who the thread is about.

What we got with Rodgers was a leadership void that seems insurmountable. He has no leadership ability, which is bad for a QB, and everyone is to afraid to make him unhappy. Including our frickin owner.

Okay, but it's way too simple to say "Carr sucks" and nothing else while ignoring that Rodgers has been crap.

Since the Rodgers experiment began you cannot deny Carr has been the better quarterback at a lower price.

Sure. And i wouldn’t want either right now. Carr has crazy money to 2027. Rodgers we can rip the bandaid off and be done with him next year.

Saying Carr sucks is too strong a take imo.

He was offering the same Rodgers "stuck in a bad marriage" downside variable you wouldn't of had to worry about with one of those much cheaper 1 year flyers out of free agency. That again were all likely to improve on Zach Wilson.

I mean if I'm NO right now I'm hardly doing any cartwheels atm looking ahead at those 2025 and beyond Carr cap hits.

*edit* or what you just replied as I typed that :)

One time I'd like to have a QB that we want to keep because they win games, not because of the price paid or how many ways they make the team worse.

Shannon Sharpe when asked about Rodgers’ 2-6 start with the Jets “it couldn’t happen to a more smug, cavalier, and condescending guy”

Don't worry Jordan Love will be available in 15 years. Fuck Favre and Rodgers, Jordan love will lead us to the playoffs in 15 years, he is the real saviour. Hope Woody is still alive to pay him what he wants and hand him the reigns to the franchise to come here and save us.

We can? Oh I sure hope so...

I think the Carr/Rodgers argument though is clearly over and Carr would've been the better choice. the Jets didn't have to give up any draft picks for Carr. They gave up so many for Rodgers! It was a disastrous decision to acquire Rodgers and one that will cost everyone their jobs

Anyone wishing they had Carr is also agreeing to throw away whatever years he plays and also give away years of the core (GW, BH, JJ, Sauce, WM) while on rookie contracts. See my posts from 2 years ago on this. He is a proven loser.
