Woody fired the HC. Why haven't we won yet? Weird. I'm sure Reddick will fix everything though. Superbowl here we come!!!
Yeah man. I'm still in disbelief but not really because it's the Jets so expect the unexpected. The game went from 15-6 Jets possibly looking to score before the half then get the second half kickoff, tv guys questioning how long Tomlin would stick with Wilson, Steelers fans booing the Steelers offense to a Pittsburgh party the rest of the way after the Rodgers rookie like int. The int. was bad enough but to get shut out the rest of the way. He's playing like a bum.
This team this year man... Its not just that they are losing. Its the almost exquisite soul crushing fashion in which they are doing so. Both on and off the field but mostly on it. Never seen anything like it and I hope I never see anything like it again. I feel like in the late 90's there was a Redskin's team that looked great on paper and then lost all the time but I didn't care and don't really remember details. THIS is effing brutal.
The Jets were in complete control of the game. We're going into half up 2 possessions and getting the ball out of the half. You can't make it up.
Woody Johnson is a horrible owner who only cares about MONEY and NOT winning. He's smitten by getting Rodgers who's 40 fucking years old and hasn't done shit for this team. Then he goes out and trades for Adams because, you know, Rodgers controls the owner and talks him into bringing in his cronies. FUCK WOODY! And today he begs Reddick to come to the table and waives his $12M in fines, which is not allowed, but gives him incentives to make it up. Woody sucks donkey dick and I'm so over this prick. Worst owner in the NFL, besides David Tepper. But in any case, the Jets will never be a successful team as long as Woody owns them.
the most crazy part about this game was there was 12 minutes left in the game and the Jets are running the play clock playing with no urgency, did anyone else notice this? Did Aaron Rodgers darkness retreat make him dumb?
it's amazing I don't care what anyone says but our team is better than the Steelers and somehow they are 5-2 and we are 2-5, that's why coaching is important.
Anyone who has followed this team for any length of time knew that as soon as that ball hit Garrett Wilson's shoulder pad and bounced into the Steelers' defender's hands, that this game was likely over. As soon as Soft Gardner committed the DPI penalty, it was official. Even with he 9 point lead. We've seen that script 100s of times.
This is the least interested I’ve been in football since I was able to understand the game. I didn’t come into this season expecting much, but this is insane.
I noticed it as well and it was pissing me off. When you are down by two scores in the fourth quarter you should be hiking the ball with ~:20 seconds left to go on the play clock to extend the game and the Jets were hiking the ball with led than 6-7 seconds left on most plays. It was maddening and when they got the illegal procedure call because they wouldn't just hike the damned ball, I couldn't take it any longer. WTF was Rodgers thinking?
