Exactly what Same Old Jets is about. The same thing, year after year, losing winnable games, giving things away in crazy fashion, killing your hope just when they give you some. That is the absolute essence of it. Yet people get angry and tell me I'm not a true fan when I say it. Like I'm just being negative for the sake of being negative. I guess being right 98.73% of the time (an actual study) makes me a fake fan - so be it.

It's really stunning that the penalties were still so bad this week. The refs screwed us on a few of them, but we continue to commit some of the most braindead penalties I've ever seen. We are just a very dumb organization from the owner down to the players.

seems like the jets have been in a position to win every game for the last 2 years and they have found 1000 different ways to choke the game away, most of it via penalties ofcourse. 4-3 at the end of October last year too and still in it, and the year before we were 5-3 before the wheels fell off. But now we're 2-4 on Columbus day at it already feels lost bc the last 3 weeks has been the S.O.S. We're already at that point if we could somehow salvage 9-8 this year and have our 1st "winning" season since 2015 it'll be deemed a success.
