    He has a golden opportunity.

The Jets roster is loaded with talent. Has to be one of the most talented rosters in the NFL.

Can he bring it all together in time to make a serious run?

    We're going to find out.

Way to deflect. You tend to do that a lot, and it adds little to the conversation. Let’s focus on the actual performance of the defense under Saleh. Your argument is essentially that unless we’re in the team's meetings, we can't draw any conclusions. But that's ridiculous—on-field performance is the most concrete evidence we have. The defense's success during Saleh's tenure speaks for itself.

Dismissing all of that based on what we "don’t know" behind the scenes is a weak argument. No one has complete knowledge, but we can still make reasonable conclusions from the results we see each week.

And your last point is hypocritical. You're trying to avoid giving Saleh any credit for the defense while also blaming him for the other coaches' performance, even though everyone knows the GM, Rodgers and ownership had their hands in those hires. You can't have it both ways. Which is it?

No deflection whatsoever. You are assuming the defense is totally the work of Saleh and the rest of the staff just waited for him to employ it - I assume nothing. We weren't there but we do know that Saleh does not call the defense during games, so where is your concrete evidence?

At no time have I said anything about Saleh having no input in the defense, while you want to give him all the credit for it, every guy there has responsibilities. And of course he is responsible for the performance of every coach on the team - that's his job, he hired them and he is supposed to supervise them, and of course no one was hired without the approval of upper management, but he picked them. Why would you give him a pass when his work unit, as a whole, is failing?
