We only have one month until the trade deadline. Many have us as buyers with Adams as the prime target. Considering our 2-3 record a smart GM might start selling if we lose to the Bills next week. Not sure I would call JD smart.
Whatever the smart move is, Douglas will do the opposite, but in a way to try to make himself look good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sadly it does not matter. We do not have NFL caliber coaching at the HC and OC positions. It doesn't matter if they get more talent on their roster.
No chance we sell. JD's primary concern right now isn't the long-term future of the team, it's doing well enough this year to not get fired. This is the problem with keeping a HC and GM a year too long. They do things that are bad for the long-term in an attempt to save their jobs, which sets back the ensuing rebuild significantly. As usual, it all starts with the owner.
Jd knows his job is toast if the Jets don't make the playoffs, he will be mortgaging the next 5 years starting with Davente Adams very soon. He don't care about the Jets future and our upcoming next decade of upcoming misery with no Qb and no draft picks, he only cares about this year because if the Jets dont make the playoffs this year he is toast.
