idk maybe I didn’t watch enough of GB but I should hope they are better than Jones and Dillon. jones is a good player, but isn’t Breece Hall better? And Dillon is an average player
Agreed, I think the Jets have what could be a top 3 RB combo, they just need the coaching and blocking to go with it.
ya know... i've seen very few live snaps in the last few years... Breece is good at going thru canyons but...
This deserves its own thread honestly. Scary bad stuff. So many blown assignments and lazy efforts. Breece looks even worse on those videos than I though.
Breece is the one I expect to demand a trade this offseason and specifically because Allen is just a beast. It's like he shut down when those 2 backs were drafted. Definitely not the same player from previous years.
A lot of this stuff is depressing and unanticipated. These are good players and for whatever reason just aren't meshing or hitting on all cylinders. And its showing up on the field with a lethargic loss to the Broncos and barely getting by Tennessee. Doesn't particularly bode well for the future either unless everybody suddenly comes out of the funk.
Breece Hall has seen 8 total before contact yards in the first 4 games of this season. Not exactly the recipe for a good YPC average. It ain't him that's basically shutting down. Better production days will still be there.
If y'all watch this... its miserable... old Henry used to call Thomas Jones the panty sniffer cos he ran up the OL's backside. Breece has been downright AWFUL. DISGUSTINGLY BAD. giving up b4 any contact is made, blind to cutbacks. And GW is a not a very good route runner.
Only Hackett and Saleh are dumb enough not to use this kid when Breece has been hot garbage for 4 straight games, Good coaches ride the hot hand but apparently Saleh doesn't want Breece to be butthurt, he is a players coach and thats why this team sucks and will never be relevant under him, player does something really stupid and he is in next play, player plays like hot garbage he gets to keep playing. I mean he kept riding Zach Wilson when there were clearly better options in year 2 and only when Zach practiclly ended his career here with the stupid press conference after the New England game did he decide to make a change.
