The strike zone on the screen in only accurate horizontally. Vertically, it is from the midpoint between the shoulders and the top of the uniform pants, to the bottom of the knees, meaning it's different for every single batter but never changes on the screen. In order to have a technically accurate strike zone, a player would have to wear sensors or some type of laser system would have to be incorporated to determine the height of the zone on a batter to batter basis. The technology exists but the implementation is a bitch because every batter and stance is different.
