That seems like a very ballsy decision.

 

He was basically saying he wanted the ball so looks like he's ready. Even if it's just 2-3 innings this time, be nice to have him back

 

That’s bs. He was clearly out! What’s the point of replays if you’re still gonna get it wrong?

 

That has to be one of the worst calls I've seen.

Clearly out, how can that be justified?

 

It really is amazing how bad umpires are at calling balls and strikes. Robot umpires can't get here soon enough as far as I'm concerned.

 

We’re in the postseason. Inexcusable performance by the umpire.

 

Why does Baseball still use umpires for pitches? Why not just have a machine do it or have an umpire hold something that determines it.

Discretion on bang-bang plays is whatever but pitches really should not have discretion in 2024 especially when everyone watching on TV can see the pitch box. It just makes the sport look silly when we can 100% see if the call was wrong or right. MLB needs to advance with the times.

Great win for Mets. I dislike the city of Philly big time. Any time any New York team beats up a Philly team, it is a good thing. Same thing applies to Boston teams for me as well.
