Garrett says the defenses focus on him. Breece says the defenses focus on him. Saleh says the weather created tough sledding and Aaron Rodgers' cadence might be an issue. Saleh says that Braelon doesn't touch the ball more and on the goal line because "Breece is our work horse" Saleh says the defense positioned them to win (yet his defense was run over on running downs when everyone knew Nix couldn't and wouldn't pass) Perhaps excuses are too much a part of this team's culture?
Starting to see some backhanded finger pointing between Rodgers and Saleh in these pressers. None of these doofuses in the CS should still be employed, they are mostly frauds.
So, weather was an issue for our 40 year old qb that spent his career in Green Bay? Breece is out work horse, even if Allen was the sure fire td maker? Right. Go away
Breece looks just awful this year. Garrett Wilson doesn’t look much better. I don’t think he caught that ball on the sideline either.
Breece is the flashy big play guy, Allen should be the work horse. If you have no offensive plan rolling the dice on the big play guy apparently becomes the plan. One or two big plays can bail a bad team out of a bad game plan.
Excuses are the beginning of the end for a HC. It rained on Denver too and as was pointed out, Rodgers played in an open air stadium in Central Wisconsin in the winter. Saleh knows he's a dead coach walking. You can see it in his eyes and his body language. This thing has trainwreck written all over it.
Imagine Calvin Johnson saying the defense was focused on him. Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin, Marvin Harrison…. Imagine Derek Henry chalking up poor play to the defense being focused on him. These kids have been hyped and overhyped by our staff without any accountability. Saleh is a classic case of coaching great players into mediocrity because he doesn’t hold players accountable and he doesn’t stress the details.
Winning is not the priority on this team. Marketing themselves is. That's the problem with the whole fucking roster
That game just couldn't be lost. And it didn't even seem like it was possible to lose it until they lost it. Maybe they'll use this as a wake up call to rally and get focused but I think overall Cman's sentiments are probably spot on. Just gonna have to see it to believe it. Also just incredible that here the Saleh/JD constructed Jets are absolutely reeling on the ropes ready to be finished off and look who's arriving in town this Sunday to potentially administer the coup de grace. Talk about irony. And Sam isn't even that kind of guy. It just who happens to be on the schedule for him. Hollywood couldn't make this shit up sometimes.
The Saleh cadence thing saying that we have to maybe dial it back is fucking wild. Rodgers has used that as a weapon for nearly 2 decades lmao. What a fucking jabroni this guy is.
I mean that's why it's kind of a big deal to show up to minicamp and not go on a vacation to Egypt. They are not used to Rodgers' unique way of running the offense, go figure
They need to be better, especially Garrett…not sure he’s not thinking the game on the same page as Rodgers but he’s missing a lot of throws that only they need to be in unison on. For Breece, the staff needs to stop doing so much stretch for him. Let him run in the tackles too…
right yeah they've been operating like a finely tuned machine all year. Yesterday was just an aberration
Rodgers' "the other option is to be accountable" line really said it all. We lead the league in penalties since Saleh took over. We are undisciplined top to bottom.
The two or three days he missed in April is why Tyron Smith (probably a future Hall of Famer) had two false starts yesterday?
They call two completely different running plays for Breece and Allen. It’s so fucking dumb and also confusing for the offensive line to try to block two completely different ways.
