Good question. I hope he sees this and re-considers his decision to take a break.

Early line on Fandual Jets -8.5

I'll look for a replay of Tampa/Denver. Am interested in seeing that one. TB is -6

When the Jets are winning I want to see them play TODAY.
When they're not winning I reluctantly want to see them play again.

Denver trounced the Bucs in Tampa. Hopefully this opens some eyes in the Jets clubhouse and they avoid the complacent letdown game.

Yep. Glad Broncos won a game this weekend. Hopefully it won't let our folks look over them.

Their win changes this game a ton.... the qb ran alot more... their d stepped up against an o that had been effective...in their barn.

    Better buckle up.

I feel better when a crap team wins the game before we face them, I think it knocks off some urgency of losing a few games in a row.

Schedule suddenly looking a bit tougher. Not just the DEN win today, but our next three games after that are against currently undefeated teams.

    MUST beat the Broncos.

Nix looked a lot better in this game - not sure what happened to the Bucs, they just never got started

Broncos won't be a cakewalk. Who saw that coming though against TB, seriously? (Bucs will probably come back to life as a middle of the pack team though) Is there anybody anywhere left in a knockout pool? You know no game is going to be easy, but the degree of parody this year feels unprecedented.
That's why I wasn't nitpicking the Titans win. Any win is a good win in this league, especially this year. Even the 2-time defending Super Bowl champions have barely escapaed with wins every week. Each of their games could have easily gone the other way and they could be 0-3.

Don't take Denver lightly. Hope Rodgers and Hack want more revenge on Sean Payton now that the former is on the field this year. Offense seems to have begun finding its footing and reason to believe they can keep getting better.

I'd be mildly surprised if the Jets lose this one. And I'll predict over 30 points on O. Don't think the defense will quite pitch a 3-point shutdown again though but I do like them against a rookie QB

Excellent point. They played well, the QB made plays with his passing but he is slick as hell on the run. We better be prepared.

Glad Broncos won big on Sunday. Hopefully less urgency when we meet them this week. Also their big win will probably wake players up in case they thought they could win easily.

My two cents. As a Jets fan I worry no matter who the opponent is. We can’t look ahead. Every game is tough, there are no cake walks. Denver D crushed TB offense. BoNix manhandled the taunted Bowles D. That’s the way of the NFL. HCs that get the teams fired up each and every week regardless of opponent are winners. People think we beat some shit opponents, that is not the case. These are the very teams we lost to last year. Forget the Vikings and Darnold. Take care of this Sunday.
At the end of the season no one gives a rat ass as to how many easy games you won. A win is a win is a win. And every win makes you better. A feeling we hardly ever have the privilege of experiencing.
The road to success starts by crushing Denver Sunday.

They looked like a different team against the Bucs but young teams with rookie QBs have a tendency to play like world beaters out of nowhere one week and flop the next. The Jets defense is better than the Bucs defense and Nix is still a rookie. I have a hard time seeing the Broncos play that well two weeks in a row let alone two road games.

The Jets should still win this game ….

The Denver defense is legit but I’m expecting the boys to come out swinging to defend Hackett and Payton talking crap about him.

their run game is struggling, they finally got something from Tyler Badie who’s like 3rd on the DC. A rookie QB going against this defense with no real deep threat, go handle business.

No reason the Jets should not win this game.

They are at home against an inferior opponent. Throw in the Rodgers/Hack revenge factor, I think the boys will be ready.
