Yeah, of course he is. Absolutely fine.
Excuse me? If you don't like hearing different opinions, maybe message boards aren't for you.

We've come a long way from 'I'm okay coach, I can go back in', but everyone knows there is a massive problem with concussions and just because this is how the NFL is handling it now, does not mean it is safe or will not be changed in the future. They used to handle it by asking how many fingers they were holding up.

Right so your problem IS with the protocol…

and that’s fine but the rest of us don’t have to put a gravestone on Tua’s career. From our couches no less

I’m hoping he passes and plays in 10 days as well and I hate the Dolphins more than anyone. Michaels doesn’t even hate the Dolphins

Michaels had to have known Tua's concussion history. This dude isn't going to be back in 10 days. This could be career ending. Al Michaels has always been a bit weird for me.

I'll be the heartless enough bastard and say it, but Tua potentially sitting out for an extended period of time would be a fairly influential and net positive turn on the Jets' seasonal outlook. All hype train BS aside the 2024 Jets were never realistically finishing ahead of Buffalo or Miami. We just weren't. We were also most likely staring down the barrel of 2 divisional L's given our defense has no answers to that Mike McDaniel offense that pretty much owns us, and which our own LaFleur'less Hackett offense wasn't likely to be good enough to keep up with.

Skylar Thompson at QB basically changes that whole equation though. He breaks that offense with a Zach Wilson level of bad.

Tua threw 3 ints before the injury. He just looked awful.

On the flip side his contract was fully guaranteed. If he has to retire he carries a 122 million dead cap.

Criticizing Al Michaels is ok if you've won the nobel prize--else STFU IMO.

Okay i just looked it up. If the NFL doctors declare he has to retire he gets all the money. If he is cleared to play but retires on his own he only hits for 48 million.

    Michaels sleep-walked through the broadcast.

And as others have noted... the audio sucked. Commercials were at least 3 to 5 dB louder than the game.

Don't need to be a Nobel prize winner to criticize a service you pay for.. ;)

I think he will be back. He might have to wear one of those condom helmets though

Have you watched the Dolphins the last two weeks? They have looked awful, a lot worse than the Jets.

Complete nonsense to say the Jets would be behind them.

I would imagine that Tua could already be displaying some signs of CTE at this point.

With all due respect this is a perfect example of what Tiki trolled this fanbase on the other day. That is such a lazy and flat out bad/defensive take of the reality situation lol

I should be the one asking you that. Miami's bad in week 1, in a game they came back and won mind you after a slow start, is pretty much this NYJ roster's ceiling on offense this year.

Yesterday they lost to a Buffalo team that is flat out on a different and higher legit contender level then our own. Like our loss to SF there is no damning shame in that, and as long as it ends up being Tua's worst game of the year.

Time for an investigation into the Niners and Mccaffrey. This is complete nonsense that he was supposed to play week 1 and now he's out for week 2 and possibly going to IR. My fantasy team weeps. Niners hiding injuries on purpose?

After our game I will watch Bengals-Chiefs game. I so want Bengals to beat the shit out of the Chiefs but I don't know. Bengals lost to Pats at home last week and no matter what you should never lose to a Pats team at home.

The Bills are not on another level. You cant compare our loss to the 49ers to the Dolphins losing to the Bills. Bills are not that good and they destroyed the Dolphins. It was not a competitive game.

    Your take is just bad.

What an interception by Bengals. One handed grab by Cincinnati defender was awesome. This was Mahomes' 2nd INT of the day. bengals up 22-17 and they have the ball.
