Tippman got ragdolled a couple times last week and manhandled most of the game in the running game. I give him a slight pass because Hargrove is a monster but glad to see the Jets somewhat hedging their bet here.
My read is this is more because of Schweitzer's injury. I sure hope we don't get to a point where we're talking about replacing Tippman for him due to bad play
Last year they activated a guy from the PS and immediately started him at center. I'm not putting anything past them.
Al Woods is still out there. I wouldn't be surprised to see him back if this line continues to struggle against the run.
How did Schweitzer get hurt? He didn't see a snap. If he was hurt in camp then why did he make the roster or why didn't they call up Mcgovern sooner?
Only thing I've seen is it was a hand injury. Not sure if it happened in last preseason game or practice leading up to week 1?
Torn Achilles Oct 29. Hasn't practiced with any team. Weight 330-350 lbs. 37 years old. When will he be able to play? Sounds good in theory but not sure if practically possible.
