They looked GREAT! Literally a quantum leap over the simplistic version of '23. I like that particular color combo over the dark solid one. I can't imagine the all black version being worn very often as they look bland. The all white look ok but the green/white combo is the best.
I loved the look. I hope the green jersey/white pants combo is used often, but I expect they will mix things up for no good reason and we won’t see the same combination used more than two or three times. But to say again, I thought these new unis looked great.
It’s our colors and we’re finally wearing them! Since last night was played on natural grass, I had flashbacks to home games at Shea. That is, early in the game before it all turned to dirt.
They look great. It's amazing what an upgrade they are from the hot garbage they've worn the last couple of years.
They do look amazing. Best thing the Jets have done in, well, going on 13 years now. Then again, they could go out there wearing potato sacks and would look better than they did wearing the Gase era uniforms.
I love the new unis! They look awesome and they're green and white. Hallelujah! I have thought for a long time that the Lions' unis were very classy and one of the best looking unis in the NFL, but their new unis are horrible. They have 3 different shades of blue all of which are ugly and there's too much of it.
Agreed. The Barry Sanders era uniforms were really classy looking. The new ones are just strange. The blue pants with no stripes on the sides at all is a really odd touch.
That new (old) look is simply amazing. Huge upgrade from the Gase duds. “Gotham” green was always good but combining with the 80s look really brings it out. White pants greens jerseys under the lights is A-OK with me…. Even if they brought the Namath era unis back it’s all about the shade of green to me. I never liked the hunter green…. I also notice the helmet logo is a tad larger than in the 80s….looks even sharper. And …. No green pants!!
I personally always liked the Colts uniforms…especially the all white look. Just clean, classy….the two color theme white and blue trim - nothing over the top.
I love the jerseys and pants and I love that they went with the 80s style again. It’s bugging me though that the helmets are shiny green and the jerseys aren’t. During day games it probably won’t be visible but at night the lights make the helmets a completely different green
I noticed that as well. It was the same way with the previous uniforms, but the jerseys were so ugly that it didn't really even matter. I'm hoping they'll wear the all-white look more often than not this season, as that's always been my favorite combination of the various Jets uniforms, so it would be less noticeable as well in that particular combination.
I don’t know why, but I absolutely HATE football pants with no stripes on the side. I don’t care what team or what color…they just make it look like ballet tights Can’t fucking stand that look
Im sure they will but nowadays the fans have a voice through social media….that’s how the 80s helmet came back in the first place. It was basically started by the “grass roots” movement of the fans if you will. If enough fans voice their negative opinions they’ll drop the green pants maybe not at once but after a season or two. If it were jerseys we were talking about it wouldn’t be as easy to drop as different jersey colors, combos etc equals $$ - merchandise, vendors etc….but nobody goes around buying the pants lol ….
