Scavengers Reign on Netflix is brilliant. The creature concept work for the aliens is worth watching by itself. That stuff reminds me a lot of that trippy 60s French animated movie Fantastic Planet. This is worth watching even if you don't like animated productions. BTW it's not anime.

And if you get high, do it when you watch this show.

Any Rutger Hauer fans in the house? Watching "Split Second" on YouTube Premium. For an older flick, it was pretty good. "We need bigger guns!!"

I'm watching the second season of American Rust. It's okay, I just need to stop multi-tasking while watching it. My attention span sucks.

Netflix with another winner... Under Paris. Good plot and action. Worth the viewing time.

Got my series crossed up. I meant season 2 got whacky and liked season 1. Not sure why they made Billy such a I don’t give a fuck lunatic the entire time and the weird sexual tension with Isaac and the sister at the same time the whole season.

I see The Boys new season has kicked off on Prime. Early review from my brother is - seems like they’re sprinkling in election year politics. I’ll wait until the full season is out.

I dropped the season before this one because it was starting to get annoying for me but I've been thinking about watching it. Gen V wasn't as bad as I expected it to be.

Erin Moriarty needs to eat sandwiches.

Yeah, I'm watching it. There are a few scenes that are disturbingly messed up. Yes, you can tell it's political and they overreach with both the right and the left. (Homelander's and Stalight's supporters)

I've kind of been on the fence about watching this one. I don't side with critics oft times, but I also hate investing my time just to wind up abandoning something.

I know that I'll probably get heat for this, but I absolutely hated 'Game of Thrones'. I lasted 4 episodes max, got a suck vibe, never looked back. I reckon it gained its footing after that, but I was too disinterested to care. I have seen clips of Geoffrey's poisoning, Peter Dinklage's wo-rad speech, and Red Wedding, but a big fat ehhhh in general. Maybe it's the subject matter. I have enough buttwipes and manipulative pieces of garbage in my own family to last me 10 life times.

Same thing with 'The Walking Dead', I mean what's not to love about zombies and Michael Rooker? I checked out after 3 episodes. Ditto 'Boardwalk Empire'.

I'm about halfway through the most recent Fargo offering and it's not bad. Kind of combines elements of the original movie and Home Alone, and they do a decent job of putting Juno Temple over as the protagonist. Lots of callbacks to the Coen brothers' signature cinematography and also Jennifer Jason Leigh is a veteran of their work and her character is really similar in some ways to the one in Hudsucker Proxy.

It's a good tight production, but somehow with all the killing it still feels like it's missing teeth. I think Jon Hamm was a poor casting choice.

Crazy insane fun fact: 'Blade Runner' was set in 2019. Rutgers Hauer's iconic scene as replicant Roy Batty: "All those moments will be be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die." Rutger Hauer died in 2019.
