Mark my word on this. When is all well and done, he might rank as the best Jet WR ever. Just give the dude a QB that can throw the rock and read defenses.
125 1300 and 10 is where I think he will fit this year. I don't think we see that 1500/1600+ season from him because I expect us to run the hell of the ball again and from what I remember, Rodgers always plays in a very slow tempo offense. The statline above would put him at at: 7.3 rec/game 76 yards/game 0.58 TDs/game
He is what he's going to be, his whole game is predicated on contorting his body and that insane spring step, if he starts throwing too much muscle on then he's not the same player. They need to use him like the player he is, instead of sending him across the middle with a pop gun QB throwing to him like dumbfuck Hackett was doing last season.
Anytime a corner is in off-coverage cover 3 or cover 4 Wilson should auto-check to a deep comeback to the sidelines. He (and Olave for that matter) run that route to perfection. I feel like I’ve seen in 5-6 times since he’s been here and it’s infuriating.
