I mean, 4 years ago when he was a rookie, yes. But this guys done nothing really since then. He’ll have to make a roster first.
Gotta wonder about the Bills' decision-making at receiver this year both in the draft and free agency. Like they want to make Allen prove himself without using Diggs as a crutch.
Maybe. But also, maybe they finally go to the style of play that’ll work in the playoffs (especially if they nab a home game or two) which would include two tightends that can catch the ball on the field most of the time and a run heavy approach with both Allen and multiple running backs. The Bills trying to build a heavy pass attack never felt like it made sense given where they play and what their home games would be like in the winter.
Gotta get home playoff games first. The defense is worse, you can’t play that style and give up 30 and expect to win I think their window is closed, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Josh Allen demand a trade (west coast) in 2025 /2026
Eh. That style of play travels well in the playoffs. They just need to actually commit to playing like that as it seems like they’ve had a habit of wanting to sling it all over the field. I like what they’ve done on offense. Diggs was making too much money and heading to the receivers cliff quickly (31 at Thanksgiving time). The question is do they have a coordinator that’s going to find an identity and stick to it? Defense they’re young and green and really need a banger at ILB next to Bernard and that douchebag Milano. But that’s why you pay a defensive head coach - to coach those guys up and not need top talent all over the place.
its not the coordinator its the Quarterback that has trouble sticking to it. We saw it against Kansas City, they were gashing them with the short game all day, KC responded and Allen couldn't help himself but abandon the gameplan and chuck it up unsuccessfully on that last drive resulting in a stalled drive and a field goal attempt (that they missed wide right hahaha)
