I wonder how fast the Q/B's will go? 6 picked on day one and zero on day two. Teams will get nervous on missing out and they might get picked higher than they otherwise would.
Pratt in the 4th or trade down, pick up a 5 and taking Jordan Travis would be ideal. Other than that, S and RB. Have a feeling we’ll be taking a DT as well.

Pratt is intriguing but my worry is that his biggest weakness can’t be taught: arm strength. There’s obviously a path for guys like him to succeed but you usually need the team around him to be perfect. Need a top notch run game (who knows if Breece will be here) and weapons all over the place (which Wilson and Corley are but still need more). Think Tua and the Dolphins. I guess that’s why he’s a fourth rounder though.
I wouldn't hate Franklin if they were open to another WR. Would like to see a QB with one of the 4th too. Curious where they are internally at RB, and whether they even really like Izzy at this point.
The main reason why i can’t see rb for this draft is that they just took Izzy last year and didn’t trust him at all. If breece goes down, are they really going to trust Izzy and the rookie to be rb2? A vet is a way better answer IMO
Virgil Carter wasn't known for his arm strength. Neither was Joe Montana. Neither had a trouble carving out a nice career. No?
We’re talking two massively different eras. I loved Chad, one of my favorite Jets ever. He’d never survive today.
If you have a smart and creative HC/OC and supporting cast (CS and players), a QB with a less than elite arm can certainly succeed. As with all athletes in all sports, the most important muscle is between their ears. The problem is that Jets don't have that smart, creative HC/OC, and haven't for decades. It's why they can't ever seem to "find" a FQB. And while I'd love to see them take a good young QB with potential, it's just a waste of a pick right now.
Right. It takes a certain visionary genius to make Virgil Carter work - and we've been keeping a town clown as a HC/OC for a better part of the past decade. I was just saying, weak arm is not the discriminating factor; stupidity always is.
