Sounds like his 40 time is a little slow but he's a yards after catch machine. Can't honestly say I know enough about him but be great if anybody could help out.

I watched a ton of CUSA games this past year. Everyone on the field knew he was going to get the ball but they still had problems stopping him. Lead NCAA in YAC the past 2 years. Lots of bubble screens, end arounds and underneath routes. Breaks a lot of tackles, but also has good speed to break big plays after.

Hope I’m wrong, but I’m getting Ardarius Stewart vibes from this guy.

Also, I wonder if this takes us out of the deebo samuel market

    1. Stewart never led the country in YAC by about 400 yards over the next closest guy over his college career

    2. we weren’t in the Deebo market

You need to scheme this guy open. People who were worried about Hackett using Bowers correctly should be even more worried about him using this guy properly.

The kid has a true short ranger burst just like a running back. He also has some impressive power, if you don't wrap him up he will run thru you. Sounds like a description from a running back as he was early in his collegiate career

He throws quick and underneath a lot. Corley can house it as well as Breece or Garrett Wilson.

It’s pretty silly to say everyone knew he was going to get the ball in an offense that spreads it out as much as the WKU offense does and always has.

Hopefully he’s as you describe because he has virtually no route tree at all other than getting the ball in space. Works for Deebo but I’m not sure he quite has the lower half tree trunks that makes it work for Deebo.

What is Malachi Corley 40 time?

Bengals wide receivers coach Troy Walters was in attendance to watch Corley, who ran a 4.47 40-yard dash and benched pressed 225 pounds 27 times. Corley has drawn comparisons to Deebo Samuel. The 22-year-old had 259 receptions for 3,035 yards and 29 touchdowns in three seasons for the Hilltoppers.

4.47 40 isn't slow and 27 reps for a WR/RB is crazy. There are OL who can't do that men reps at 225 lbs.

You are wrong, imo. There's nothing about this kid that is like Ardarius Stewart

I know he's limited but I just like watching him play. He doesn't pop out with speed or quickness or overall strength but he has a really instinctive way of running in traffic that I think works at the pro level and I think he's a guy that will result in a lot of positive yards. Plus he's tough enough to cross the middle in the murder zone.
