Just don't fuck this draft up by drafting for depth on defense. Remember, this year just might be your last Rodeo so choose wisely or else...
The Draft? Already ? Well at least the NYKnicks are showing some championship caliber..does it rub off on us next season?? And I can watch them against the Sixers if Iam too depressed with Jets selections TBH..no amount of Makers Mark can get me through JDs shenanigans and what unfolds Thursday night
I know there is a God and he has had his share of needling us over the years...but for once, when I say my daily prays, I'll ask for an OT, OT, OT.... and no D.
Don't mortgage the future. Leave your possible successor with a full set of picks, but make the best use out of the ones you have this year. If you have a good haul, maybe you won't go anywhere after next season.
absolutely I bet if we lined up the last 10-20 actuals jets drafts against the composite view on this board our drafts would have been better. No joke.
I've been keeping a "Who they picked vs. Who I would have picked" list since the 2006 draft. The results are comparable ... only my profession is not professional sports, I didn't spend any money on scouting, I didn't have a staff of scouts, I didn't have the ability to trade (or not trade), and the full extent of my research was watching games on Saturdays and reading a couple of websites a week before every draft. Anybody who puts faith in a Jets Front Office is setting themselves up for disappointment.
I tend to go for position of need and hope for whoever they think is best available. So in theory I should be rooting for a tackle but so many mocks has the Jets taking Brock Bowers. So I watched a lot of videos and now I'll be disappointed if we don't get him.
Approach the draft like you actually have a vision (or care) for the future. OT and QB should be the pressing considerations. And then sign AVTs 5th year option immediately. I can’t get past the thought of this clown leaving us absolutely no QB or offensive line in his wake. Putting in place options for the future here would go a long way towards saving his job.
