Agreed. This means that they don't have to take a SS in the draft, have more flexibility, will be less predictable, it will shore up STs, and I would feel more confident with Davis stepping in and starting if Clark gets hurt again (perish the thought), than I would a rookie.
I thought they should bring back Marcus Maye. The way Ulbrich likes to keep his safeties a mile back, a true center field type safety like Maye is a better fit
Solid move, assuming for relatively cheap. Very good special teams player, and improved as a Safety last year, has great knack for the ball. JD is so far did well this off-season. Emphasis on so far!
