    Without knowing the details, I like it. He's a very good STer and he does have a nose for the ball.

    If he's only in the game when the Jets are in the lead, they know the other team has to throw, and he's just roaming that's ok with me.

    Agreed. This means that they don't have to take a SS in the draft, have more flexibility, will be less predictable, it will shore up STs, and I would feel more confident with Davis stepping in and starting if Clark gets hurt again (perish the thought), than I would a rookie.

    I thought they should bring back Marcus Maye. The way Ulbrich likes to keep his safeties a mile back, a true center field type safety like Maye is a better fit

    Solid move, assuming for relatively cheap. Very good special teams player, and improved as a Safety last year, has great knack for the ball. JD is so far did well this off-season. Emphasis on so far!
