Even for the hype machine this betting line is coming across as 1 win too high/aggressive there with all the extremely valid question marks that surround a team with a 41yo QB and who that hasn't even cleared 8 wins since 2015.

Personally loving the under there. Especially when I view 9 wins as more of a ceiling for this team in a crowded AFC picture.

9 or less. I don't think they reach 9 either.

I'm a glass is 100% full type of guy, so I'm going to say 9 wins this season, but it's really too early to make predictions. I might change my prediction before the season starts.

Shit will happen. In a perfect and healthy world I can see them winning up to 11 games. That's not this world. I'm guessing 8 tops.

Almost everything will have to go right - especially Rodgers playing the whole season - for them to reach 9 games. When was the last time everything went right for the Jets?

    Still waiting...

If Rodgers plays all 17 games and no major Offensive Line injuries then 11 wins is realistic. But I doubt Rodgers plays full season and OL will be patchwork again. So Jets will win 7 or 8 games max.

Yeah it's totally early and obviously subject to change. But the lines are up.

I just find it interesting how much the hype machine apparently loves to oversell us. I mean putting us a full win ahead of Pittsburgh and Tomlin at their +8.5 total? Who have (arguably) improved their QB situation even more then we have and who have only lost less then 9 games once in the last decade (an 8 win season at that)?

That makes no on field sense imo.

Take the over. We have Rodgers plus a true backup QB added to last year's 7 win team. And the offensive line can't be worse than last year.

What game is that? I actually attended the game in 1986? where the Jets beat the Dolphins in OT 51-45. That was an amazing game! I have to admit I left early in order to beat the traffic. I heard the end of the game on the radio in the car.

I think he's talking about the '92 draft.

That's good. I didn't know if you really liked Jeff Blake or what.

Could you imagine if Jeff Blake had coaching and weapons around him? Just like Zach Wilson.

That’s a long way to say 8 or less.

I can't believe we go from the 32nd QB to a top 10 QB and a much improved line/receiver group that we can't add 3 wins to what we had last year. Not to mention that #10 pick that should solidify one of those 2 units even more. Taking the over at 10

So the Jets won the offseason again. LOL. I'm guessing the season or seasons themselves were much better after that draft. Update: I looked up that draft. Yikes!

It's that feeling that Jet observers have that what can go wrong will go wrong.
