I hope that Zach will ask for a trade this offseason and the Jets will grant it. Then I can bid adieu to the insanity that is the NY Jets, and can go root for Zach on his new team

Can we throw in a 7th if they take NC with him?

I'd be guessing less to none with more of a toxic media microscope on him from day 1.

He'd be too wrapped up in his on-field career taking the wrong path to ruin to feel secure enough doing that type of shit.

He’s going to leave as a free agent soon enough.

I don't think this free agent makes it past the interview stage. Like a red flag machine gun.

I am glad to see this, cutting Mosley would've been a mistake. Sounds like he will be here for the next 2 seasons

Agreed - keeping him at old price (17 mil) was not going to happen. Frankly even at 9 mil in 2024, turning 32 this year, plus 8.25 next year (4.25 guaranteed, so if he jumps off a cliff this year we can pay him 4.25 mil not to play and use 4 mil elsewhere) is a very good deal for Mosley. But probably within the fair range. One thing we can already tell about JD this year, he is not handing out big contracts to non star/older players. Mosley (9 mil per) is the biggest contract he gave this year and very likely this will remain so or very close to it. I actually think this is not a terrible idea, except Huff. I think he is a young star, but the Jets disagreed.

I like that we're in on Boyd.

What would we have to pay to get him here instead of KC?... Though with the monster Chris Jones extension they might not have a ton of cap to work with
