Jets receive: Moses and a 4th-round pick (No. 134 overall). Ravens receive: 4th-round pick (No. 112) and 6th-round pick (No. 218).
I’m a fan of the move. Essentially giving up a 6th and moving back 20 spots in the 4th for a solid RT.
He. Wanted. To. Go. To. A. Contender. If Rodgers stays healthy, we are in a much better position to contend than when he left. Honestly, I'm really curious how he feels about being back with the Jets.
Sooo now we have 4 OL. Alt, AVT, Tippman, Simpson, Moses. I can deal with that, atleast now we wont be moving AVT to RT
I like it. Definitely should not have let him go to begin with. Now bring on a Smith or any solid veteran LT to allow flexibility in the draft. Would like a G depth signing too.
I know that it was litigated a ton and I never really got into it, but Moses’s comments in early December never really indicated that. I firmly believe the Jets could’ve kept him if they tried harder, but they wanted to get Becton back in there and still had Fant off a good season.
So instead of just paying the extremely cheap contract he should have given Moses in the first place, he gave up a 4th rounder to pay the last year of it. Man, besides his draft 2 years ago and the Jamal Adams trade Douglas has been absolutely abysmal as the GM for this team.
Love it! Should have never let him go in the first place though (I know there's controversy about how it happened*). This dude just keeps getting undervalued. Curious why the Ravens would trade him. Very glad RT is now set and we don't have to toy with AVT being kicked out to tackle. Let him dominate at RG and now should have an upgrade to his right. Interesting how this impacts the draft. If they sign an LT I'm all in for a WR at 10
I remember reading articles that said otherwise, I'll try to find them later. Good news that he did enjoy his time with the Jets.
100 % People on here in ecstasy over a dumb move (not keeping Moses) and then the make up cost to get him back Ridiculous how the rationalization works for big Joe D
JD has been a train wreck and almost never accepts or learns from his mistakes. Maybe trading for Moses is at least a small sign of progress in that sense. Either way I’m very happy to have him back. Moses might not be though lol.
