Hmmm, let's make a chart that proves some kind of point we want to make even if the term of the chart is for an arbitrary period rarely used and includes players who did not participate in the entire period.

Even if Rodgers comes back to the pack in that chart, though, he's still light years ahead of what Wilson has been producing the past three years. While it would be nice to get MVP Rodgers out there next year, even if he's just a slightly above average NFL QB, we're most likely feeling a lot better about the situation than we were the past 13 seasons, with the lone possible exception being 2015.

    Which is exactly the point.
We've had absolutely horrendous QB play the last two years... and still managed to win 7 games.

I'm more worried about Rodgers getting hurt than I am about his ability to improve our offense.

If you don't understand the chart... just say so. :p

You're assuming that Rodgers will put up a 9/17 season.

If we get the same ending I'll be fine with that... ;)

This is a good take. If Rodgers stays healthy? I don't know if he is healthy at all after his injury. He may be fragile next season. If he is fragile, we are fucked.
We need O-Line. Rodgers can throw the ball, can he stay on the field?

Nope - I think I nailed it, unless there's some relationship between Rodgers' 2020 season and his 2023 exhibition.

Unfortunately we're stuck with Rodgers in '24... so suck it up, buttercup.

How many games do you think he will start?

What is the over/under on games started by Rodgers this year? I'm hoping Woody and the Mara's decide to leave the natural grass after the World Cup is over.

The question isn't whether Rodgers will be a huge upgrade over Zach, it's whether he can stay healthy and play the wholes season. As Parcells said: "The most important ability is availability".

We have to hope for the best, as always. But as Jets fans we also know that our hopes are often quickly dashed. I'm expecting nothing different in 2024. The foundation of this franchise is rotted through with incompetence. They can apply a new coat of paint, new floors, countertops, and appliances, but the house is likely to collapse the same as it always does.

The hope has been beaten out of me by this team.

I will put out a prediction. And I hope I am wrong of course
    • The season will start and Rodgers will be a shell of himself. By midseason there will serious questions about his benching. To save face and avoid benching, he will get "injured" and miss the rest the season, essentially retired but wont announce it officially til after the season. He will still go on McAfee week after week talking about how close he is to returning.

Why, Duane Brown of course! You saw how hard he worked and played in spite of injury. That warrants a LT starting spot in 2024.
