Not that he was expected to play, but now he can't. Is this finally the true end of Zach Wilson in a Jets uniform? Or, like some half-baked version of Ryan Fitzpatrick, will he rise yet again to have some sort of role in 2024?
That has got to be it, surely? I wanted him to succeed but it hasn't worked. Best for all parties that he moves on.

I remember after draft day i started following Z's mom on instagram and she was posting the family draft day party on her stories - and their mansion (and perfectly maintained and curated pool) was just filled with scores of blonde haired, white teethed, shiny happy people wearing jet green without a care in the world. I told myself they had no idea what they were in for and it was near certain we would ruin all of their lives. It just struck me as funny that i had never seen such naive and happy people wearing Jet green. It was off-putting and odd. That aint us! If you a jet fan, clearly you are a miserable wretch. Needless to say I knew it was a disaster in the making. of all our recent qb draftee failures (which account for why we remain atrocious) he was somehow a douchier than Sanchize, more unlikeable than Geno (who literally got punched in the face by his own teammate), and more braindead than Darnold - like a shocking blend and unbelievable he wound up being significantly worse than all three. Good riddance. this has been worst period of jet fandom for me. when you are physically repulsed by your own QB - its like impossible to watch. please tell me this is the end.
