The ultimate "tank after getting paid" Jet seemingly has done well for himself https://www.tmz.com/2024/01/01/nfl-muhammad-wilkerson-arrested-accused-driving-drunk-gun-ammo-car/
Not surprised. Does anyone remember when Justin Miller was being pursued by police for assault and he hid in someone's garage? Good times!
Not really Jets related but okay. Sounds like he has a suspension due. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk
It's his third DUI/DWI offense. At some point they need to throw him in prison for several years because he's not getting the message.
Well said. Hate to sound selfish and insensitive but he lives in my neighborhood and I have 2 teenagers who just got their license's and driving themselves to school. Rather see people like him thrown to jail than being allowed to drive time after time.
I agree entirely. The article said he has two prior DWI arrests but not whether those arrests resulted in convictions. New Jersey law is pretty strict on repeat offenders, but he won't be considered a repeat offender unless he has a prior conviction or prior convictions. Don't underestimate the impact of the gun charge. That's the kind of charge that could land him in jail. We'll see.
from a football point of view he turned out to be such a disappointment - was one of the few bright draft highlights for the Jets in amongst some abysmal draft picks (Kyle Wilson, Dee Milliner, Calvin Pryor, Quinton Coples - year after year of busts) and then he got paid and ended up as bad as any of them as for the DUI - no excuse for it - especially not when you dodged a bullet once with it
I could only imagine what I would be like if I was in my early 30s with enough money in the bank to retire and live large.
He hasn't been on an NFL roster since 2020, and this arrest is basically him announcing his retirement.
Ignoring the DWI for a second, I believe hollow point bullets are completely legal in 49 states. Carrying a gun on your car is legal in approximately 46 states. The gun, also seemingly has nothing to do with him getting pulled over. Now, back to the DWI, that's not good. Sent from my Pixel 7 Pro using Tapatalk
You know what he’s been up to, beyond this, these days? and speaking of this, sounds like you may know him? Are you surprised!not suprised, etc?
Yeah, it's bad. I didn't know he had 3 of them. I think this guy literally drank away his contract and that's why he failed on the Jets. The guy needs help. In NJ if you get 3 DUIS within 10 years, you lose your license for 10 years and get the interlock breathalyzer device on your car for 1-3 years AFTER the suspension is up. He might get jail time for the gun.
