That win in Toronto does not happen very often for the Rangers.

 

There is a level of improvement in players like Panarin, Trochek, Lafreniere, Miller, and Trouba (yes, I said it) that is just remarkable to me. I guess the head coach DOES make a difference on a team.

 

Big Maple Leaf fan here. Rangers did an excellent job of bottling up Toronto's skill players, even though Matthews got loose
for a couple. I thought a couple of goals were kinda fluky, but Rangers were full value for that "W".

I have been as big a critic of Jacob Trouba as anyone. While I still question that he is worth 8M per year, his level of improved play over one year ago is outright shocking.
