Sadly, I could easily see it happen. It's actually the ultimate culmination of the "same old Jets" mantra. Our terrible OC, who himself is the son of another terrible Jets OC, fails upwards after one of the worst offensive seasons in NFL history and takes the reigns of the organization. At least it would be semi-entertaining. It would be such a shitshow that we'd be longing for the glory days of the 2023 season.
It's the 32nd ranked offense vs the 32nd ranked defense. Nothing quite as exciting as the very resistible force against the extremely movable object.
Brook, we can't even count on one of Zach's random good games to happen, it's Trevor Seimian or Brett Rypien, who I think threw an interception to Aaron Rodgers in practice last week. I don't see us winning anymore games unless it's all pick 6's and safeties. And now the defense is broken.
While I am having trouble imagining it, unfortunately I am able to imagine it with a little bit of imagination.
I'm guessing that's the first half. Maybe not even that. Washington's DL is still pretty talented without Chase Young
It's not even if the Jets win or lose, it's how much will they lose by and how many INT's get thrown.
One thing is for certain. A loss does more for us than a win. Puts all the pressure on JD not to fuck up another high DP. Maybe he should check with Rodgers before making any picks.
Jets will win as: - we are now eliminated which means they will start winning so that it looks like things are trending upwards and no-one gets fired - it will kill our draft position and we miss out on the two top tackle prospects - the Commanders may currently be even worse than the Jets (as hard as that is to believe)
