As bad as Becton played he is still out best tackle. Typical jets fans get rid of him only to get somebody worse.
Well, the Jets fans want someone better. But you are right, the GMs we've had usually get worse. Still, I think it is reasonable for us as fans to aspire for at least an average LT, which Becton has not been. Yes, he is the best we have, but that I am afraid is still below average.
I'm stoked. Would be nice to think the Jets will win out, mess up the Dolphin's run at the division title, and carry some momentum into next season. Won't happen, but I get to spend a few days hanging out by the Christmas tree, imagining it might.
Defense gets a big Stud. They added CJ Stroud's name to the long list of QBs they've embarrassed! The whole team had like 130 yards for the game. And Stroud knows it.
Unfortunately we can't be sure we get this Zach two weeks in a row. However, the decision to start Tim Boyle for two games really looks foolish after yesterday, so congrats to Zach for making Saleh look bad. Two other Zach comments: The kid can take a beating. There were at least two plays yesterday when I though "uh oh, that's it for him" but he gets right back up. And, he does throw a nice ball. It was good to see that with the weather conditions yesterday. He can throw in the rain.
Patriots, Chargers, Raiders, Falcons. You win one of those games and we’re somewhat in the hunt with tiebreakers over the Texans and Broncos and aren’t missing a single head to head tiebreaker over any of the other teams. 3/4 of those games were at home too. I think that’s what’s so irritating about yesterdays performance. It’s obvious the team as a whole is capable of doing that. I’d be reluctant to see Wilson do that consistently but we could’ve won some of those games without that.
