The most important thing out of all of this today IMO is that Saleh and JD are toast after this year. This will most likely turn the locker room on them, if it wasn't already, and now Woody is going to be pissed. Clean house this offseason, tell Rodgers this is the deal and either get on board or pay him his money, draft Williams or Maye in the top 2-3 and do a full reset. Not sure there's another option at this point.
you can put good film on yourself with bad results overall and issues around you. GW's film is still impressive despite his stats being low. he's getting open a lot, making great catches. rarely drops anything.
Boyle is worse than Zach. Zach is borderline QB2/QB3 level, whereas Boyle shouldn't even be on a practice squad let alone an NFL roster let alone starting a game. Siemian used to be borderline QB1/QB2, now he's probably somewhere around Zach's level, though there's a chance he's better.
they are getting a hall pass. the team will rally behind rodgers. we have a young roster and young rosters have a ton of respect for guys like rodgers. they will get 1 more chance. not saying they deserve it, but it's just reality. also saleh is late lol
IDK that last few drives simian look way worse. You can argue rust maybe but so far nothing we seen in simians last few chances to play suggests he's a better option that zach at this point

If I somehow miraculously became owner, I'd tell Rodgers that since he's stuck with us, both his and our best bet is to hire someone competent to run the team. And in order to get someone competent, there can't be any stipulations like trading for Adams or not drafting a first round QB because then nobody competent will take the job (though obviously the plan would be for the rookie QB to sit behind Rodgers for a year). The key is that even in the very short run next year, we'd have a better chance of winning with a competent front office than with Adams and a first rounder who isn't a QB. Hopefully Rodgers would see sense like Russell Wilson did last offseason, and we can have a winning season next year as well as a future after Rodgers retires. Of course, it's Woody running the team and not me, so it's probably going to end horribly.
I don't see it. why would the jets have any incentive to slander zach? makes 0 sense. thats not JD or saleh's MO either. edit: I wonder if this breaking story has any effect on saleh being late to his conference. being over 20mins late to a press conference as a head coach is a bad look
Wishful thinking. The Jets aren’t going to make it to the top 2 with the Pats and Carolina being as bad as they are. The Pats have a really tough schedule too. Jets are going to have to find the 3rd best Qb or roll the dice with Harrison Jr or Alt at 3.
saleh when asked "why call him in for a meeting" answer "I didn't he came to me and he wants the ball" seems like this was fake news
Siemian looked bad, but Zach's looked that bad many times before. If this were on the merits, Siemian would get a chance to prove himself. But Boyle getting the nod over Siemian when the Jets benched Zach showed it was never on the merits. The whole thing is a mess regardless of what exactly the various actors' motives are.
it is on mertis. coaches see them in practice several times a week. they don't need to hit the field in a live game for coaches to know who gives a better chance to win. only fans think that way.
