I get the poor optics of it but they’re still allowed to be functioning human beings with life events going on whether they win or lose.

What are they supposed to do? Not show their face in public until they have a winning record?

I'm just sharing the news article. I think its awesome that they had a great time.

CJ Uzomah's knee must be feeling better if he was there late into the evening. Hopefully he's ready to jump offsides next Sunday for us

I hope there were bigger stars there than Randall Cobb.

Hard to celebrate 5 straight losses so, why not get drunk and enjoy a BDay party for the Savior of the Organization..

yes - that is exactly what you are supposed to do as a highly paid professional athlete - you are supposed to pretend that you care and are in it just like the fans and not make it so obvious that as long as you stay healthy and get paid you pretty much don't care beyond a certain point.

Rodgers passed Lazard an invitation, but he dropped it.

Highly paid athletes are supposed to lock themselves in their houses and no go out in public if they aren’t having a good season?

Idunno how celebrating a birthday proves that you don’t care.

I think there's some wiggle room between locking yourself in the house and going on a 2-night birthday celebration :)

Yeah, I don't really get upset about things like this. As long as the players play hard and prepare for the games, what they do in their spare time is their business. Then again, the prepration on this team is abysmal. But I digress - I was out doing a lot of shit in my 20s and I was poor as shit. If I lived my 20s and 30s in today's society and had money...............phew, forget about it!!!!

Hope so for the sake of whoever wrote the headline. "Star studded" with Randall Cobb as the top star is not studded.

My wife likes to state that people who celebrate a 'birthday month' are narcissists. Rodgers having a 2-night celebration for himself gives the feeling she may be onto something.

in fairness, i believe all team players party after a game win or lose. i remember ray lewis telling stories where teams would rent out halls which were filled with hookers. after every game

I am starting to think as soon as the Jets are on the hook for Rodgers contract, he has an out and he goes to the Pats and wins Belly a super bowl

Douglas probably planned the party. Maybe he's been so busy with that since the summer, it would explain why he hasn't done his damn job with the Jets.
