I really like this guy. With our remaining schedule, we are guaranteed to pick in Top 10. Can he survive until the Jets pick?
Hopefully he stubs his toe while posing naked for photos with a bong mask on connected to a 3' bong, and drops to the JETS 3rd round pick....
Going to be really interested to see how teams rate him. He ran around like a lunatic behind the LOS ala young Mike Vick on bad Arizona State teams and got them to bowl games. Now he’s a real passer and he still has 4.4 speed. They’re not running some gimmicky bullshit either. A lot of his big runs are on broken plays and his big throws are real big time throws.
I really like this kid on the NYJ--1 year sitting and then let him loose--Breece and he in the backfield seems like a winner. He's the bright side of losing this season--trouble is if JD is smart enough to grab him and thats a big if.
I've been able to select him in some PFN simulations with our 3rd round pick. Surely, he won't last that long at this rate.
He just declared for Draft. I know Joe Douglas will cover his ass and pass on him but one can dream right?
no shot. Although I definitely have reservations about his build holding up to NFL punishment.... could be fun to watch for a little while, which is sadly more than we've experienced in a long time.
One thing about Daniels that I just saw today is that he takes a ton of sacks when pressured. That usually bodes very poorly for success at the next level because it ties in with processing ability.
Not sure this happens anymore. Could definitely see the Pats taking Daniels at 4 and then the Giants get Nabers at 5. 6 and 7 could very will be Foshanu and Alt wit LAC and Titans. We really need the Titans to win a game so we if we lose out we can get up to 6 or 7.
I feel quite comfortable saying there is less than a 5% chance Jets pick a QB with the first round pick. 80% chance is an OL 15% is a WR
If Daniels is still available with the 10th pick (which he won't be), the Jets would be mad not to take him.
Or, we trade the pick to someone willing to give us a decent amount for him. Would honestly be a win-win in my eyes.
If Daniels lasts to 10 (which again I doubt he will), I don't think we'd get a huge haul for him. I'd take the chance that his college production will translate to the NFL after a year of sitting behind Rodgers because if it does, we'll have an elite QB.
I’m with you, but I just don’t see this regime drafting a QB in the first round this year. Right or wrong, they’re going to put pieces around Rodgers for the next year or two.
