Woody would fire everyone and hire a new gm. Rodgers would likely retire. We are not winning another game and will end up with the 2nd pick behind Carolina. That puts new gm in position to take Maye or Williams or whoever. If you wish otherwise your delusional because this team ain't winning sh#t next year running it back.
If we’re in a position to draft a QB that’s reason alone to fire Douglas. He’s proven incapable of managing that position.
First of all, if I got my wish, we'd have a new owner ... and that new owner would fire everyone in the front office and coaching staff, then cut every player over 30 not named "Rodgers." Then the new GM would draft seven offensive linemen in the 2024 draft.
As far as dealing with current reality going forward goes seeing Rodgers retire would top the list by a landslide. Any hope of turning things around and getting the franchise rebuild effort back on track starts and ends with the absolute need to get him out of the building. We can't do that with his baggage (starting with not being able to remove Hackett and at least try to get a better offensive mind in that coaching room)

They won't care until we stop filling the stadium each week and stop buying the jerseys and hats and all of the rest of that stuff. They're making money hand over fist despite how negligent ownership is with this franchise. Until the Johnsons prove that they can't make money with the deck stacked entirely in their favor, they're not going anywhere.
All of these fools deserve to be fired. However, there is a 100% chance Woody will hire equally incompetent fools to replace them. Therefore, I am officially voting that we keep JD, Saleh, Hackett, et al for another say 4 years. Simply as a scientific experiment, I want to know if crappy staff + long term stability is at all better than what the Jets have shown us for, well, ever (i.e.: Incompetence+stability > incompetence+instability, Woody owns this team, so Competence is not available). Side benefit: Not hiring new fools will save some here from needlessly getting their hopes up.
Yeah honestly, this is the only thing we can do. I haven't bought anything Jets-related in years. I just can't fathom giving any money to these clowns. They don't care about winning, they don't care about the field murdering 5 achilles tendons and 10 ACLs per year, and they don't care about the fans. Stop giving them money. Stop buying season tickets. This franchise deserves nothing in its current state.
Same. I may be a Jets fan, but the organization hasn't benefited from my fandom in several years and will never benefit from it unless they can clearly show that they've turned it around.
