The Jets are just awful and unwatchable. Something massive has to happen this offseason cause this team is just terrible. I was hoping Zach would come back in cause Boyle is not even Arena ball quality. It's hard to be bad at all phases of football but Salah does it well. He needs to go and Woody needs to do a better job of finding his replacement. JUST END THE SEASON
It really wasn't Zach's fault... but what does it matter. This team was paper thin. Joe Douglas needs to go.

Nothing about Boyle made me wish for Zach Wilson. Not even a little bit. Boyle does not belong in the NFL, but he was still able to reliably make accurate throws on the most elemental reads and plays. The problem with him is that he can't do anything else beyond those basics, but coming off a kid who couldn't even execute the entry level stuff, he's a step up to me, personally - even without the chance at a 1-in-50 splash play.
I only watched one play, the inexcusable TD by Miami right before the half. The Jets actually out-Jetted themselves. PAIN. I'm gonna start wearing a Groucho Marx disguise in public so if I catch my reflection in storefront glass, I won't be quite as embarrassed of myself for being a fan of this idiot franchise. When is enough enough? When we're all dead. Take the under. Heh.
Not to stir the pot. I genuinely want to understand what you are saying. Are you saying that THIS season isn't Zach Wilson's fault, or the past THREE seasons weren't Zach Wilson's fault?
And this is what a total rebuild looks like, courtesy of the NY football Jets, started 4 years ago, and after 4 years, they're just as bad, as they were in the beginning.
Neither Zach nor Boyle are NFL caliber. We do not have a quarterback on the roster. Out of the 3, Siemian is probably the best we have and that's not saying much.
We were actually betting in the “beginning” finishing 7-9 in 2019 with Lord Gase. Remarkable that the douche bag that is Adam Gase (with a year of Mike Maccagnan) coached better football than this regime.
As I said in the other Boyle thread, the Jets benched Zach for the one guy in the league who's even worse.
You've got to hand it to the Jets. Anybody could find a QB better than Zach Wilson. It takes real talent to find one that's worse.
The team looked exactly the same honestly. Tim Boyle and Zach Wilson are basically the same boringness, just in different fashion.
I don't know. Zach's Hail Marys hit his receivers in their hands (they just drop them). Boyle's get returned for TDs. The edge might go to Zach on this one.
Wilson was certainly better. But just as @HomeoftheJets said. Boyle was a human shield for Wilson so the Jets organization could say SEE! HE’S NOT THAT BAD!!!!!
And it's why they'll never play Siemian. Yeah, he sucks too, but on the odd occasion he's managed to look like a real life NFL QB, something these other two have never done. They really should just hold a raffle for the next game and the winner gets to play QB. I mean, could it really be any worse if they just plucked some lucky (or unlucky, depending on how you look at it) person from the stands, handed them a helmet, and said get out there?
