The offense is so lackluster they allow a pick-6 on a hail mary. G. WIlson loafed his ass all the way to our end zone, while Breece Hall got steamrolled by blocks and never came close to the ball carrier. A lot of lack of effort/ lack of execution/ lack of team pride is evident in that play, or else some "business decisions" by guys who claim to be young leaders on this team.
That play and situation perfectly encapsulates the '23 season. Get within 4 points 2 secs. before the half... go into the locker room down 11 points.
To be fair he hasn't a NFL QB start for him for his entire tenure. That's out of his control - the results are what they are when you don't have NFL QB on your roster for 3 years.
I'd love to know that too. It really can't be much. They've led little if any time during two of their four wins this season. Never led the Bills game and then only pulled ahead of Philly in the final minute-plus.
An NFL game on a Friday, which was 8pm our time in the UK. So I've watched it with my pals in a bar (who know little about the game - other than seeing me in Jets merch all the time) and it has not gone well, has it? The Fail Mary at the end of the half had people who know nothing of the game asking why the f##k they could not defend a marginal play if it went wrong. I'm normally optimistic, and will remain so, but The New York Jets have screwed up the weekend before it has started, as opposed to when it has finished. A new first.
Saleh is like a bad version of Rex Ryan at this point - both had a good defense but a bad offense and never had a competent QB to work with - and it will end the same way soon Also feels like this team is getting into the same kind of clown territory they were towards the end of Rex's regime with that pick 6 and hitting the ref etc. - feels like the team should enter the field wearing red noses in a car with square wheels and the doors falling off
