I thought it would have been Cook, but I guess he looked pretty good against LV.

Seems like a cool guy, but he's no real loss. Maybe Abandikanda can spark the team a little bit.

At least they drafted another RB--they could have gone the ZW route and ignored the situation entirely lol

I used to think Ashtyn Davis would be the next domino to fall, but he hasn't been chugging as much suck juice this season as he usually does.

That’s why they should’ve brought Zeke in. He’s a douche but he called the protections for Dak in Dallas.

I know he committed a penalty against Buffalo and didn't get back in the game. I wonder if that's related.

That's strange, I didn't see that coming, thank God, they didn't cut the worst QB in the league though.

man really shocked about this. not about the release but about how he fell off. dude was a stud as a rookie. pretty much singlehandedly bumped up whites stats in that bengals game. led the NFL in forcing missed tackles. he looked like leon washington 2.0. then last year and so far this year he has done a 180. no missed tackles. doesn't look elusive. drops too many balls. dumb penalties.

I wonder if we make izzy RB2 and cook the 3rd down back now.

I never understood the davis hate. He sucks at tackling which is why he doesn't play more but he's been our best "turnover maker" on D. every time he gets like 10+ snaps a game he seems to get an INT or force a fumble usually in key spots. and he's god on special teams. he didn't live up to a 3rd round pick but he's been a fine backup/special teamer

A bit surprised considering he's on a cheap rookie deal but I don't think he will be missed. In my opinion, his chop block penalty on the opening drive of the 2nd half was the turning point in the game. 3rd and 8...Wilson makes a terrific throw to Gipson at the 40yd line. Instead of a 1st down, its now 3rd and long deep in our own end and we lose the field position battle in the 2nd half. It was a killer penalty and I'm pretty sure it was the last time MC touched the field.

Considering he wasn't the worst of our problems, being released is a surprise. There's something going on behind the scenes that we don't yet know about.
I can't wait until the book comes out documenting this shit show. You know it's coming sooner or later.

It's a big part of the job requirement of playing Safety

When he got playing time he was one of the worst players I've ever seen. He is better suited as a role player in space, and will get a pick on poorly thrown balls.

His angles were mind boggling when he had significant snaps.
